Q Series Air Lock - Rotary

AIR LOCK - ROTARY - EKLÜS -AIRLOCK - STAR FEEDER - CELL WHEEL

WHAT IS AIR LOCK

  • The airlock is a machine in which the rotor is rotated inside the body with the roller bearings of the tracked rotor inside the body whose internal structure is cylindrical.

       AIR LOCK

  • It is also known as air lock and is also called star feeder, rotary valve, cell wheel, rotary, rotary wheel transmitter, rotary valve, rotary valve, airlock, capsule, eclus.

  • The product coming from the upper inlet of the airlock fills between the blades, and by the rotation of the rotor, it ensures a regular discharge from the lower outlet.

  • In air pressure or vacuum transport systems and filter systems, it separates the product from the air and discharges the product by taking advantage of the force of gravity. It prevents air flow between the areas where the product is taken and discharged.

  • The airlock is used as a dosing agent and proportional unloader in storage areas such as silos and bunkers for products in powder and granular form for the purpose of controlling the product flow.

  • Process conditions, the structure of the material to be transferred, food products, large granules, flammable, explosive and product temperature according to the structure of raw materials differs according to the air lock, and the appropriate air lock selection should be made.

AIR LOCK USAGE PLACES

  • The air lock placed under storage systems such as silos and bunkers provides volumetric dosing and controlled discharge of the product by controlling the rotation speed. transfers the product to other equipment such as auger, conveyor, mixer.

  • In dust collection filter systems, it is used to discharge the substance in the jet pulse filter, where volatile materials such as dust, fiber, sawdust, are kept under the filter.

  • The air lock placed under the cyclone ensures that the material transferred to the cyclone by pressure or vacuum is discharged without leaking the air under the cyclone.

  • It provides product flow control at product inlet or outlet in belt, spiral, chain conveyors.

  • In the controlled filling or unloading of the material to be loaded into the raw material processing machines in industrial processes, the airlock placed at the entrance and exit of the closed tanks where processes such as drying, cooking, washing, grinding, mixer are performed, ensures the isolation of the system from the ambient conditions.

  • It is used for filling bigbags, sacks, tanks and containers by measuring volumetrically.
