What is Q – L Series Airlock?

The Q – L Series Airlock, also known as rotary valve, star feeder, eklüs or cell wheel, is a high-performance equipment for pneumatic conveying and filtration systems. Its bladed rotor rotates inside a cylindrical housing, supported by bearings, and ensures leak-tight and regular discharge from the outlet. This prevents product loss and maintains air sealing across the system.

Applications

The Q – L Series Airlock is widely used under silos and bunkers, at jet pulse filters, cyclone outlets, and conveyor inlets/outlets. It transfers powders and granules safely and is ideal for closed process tanks (dryers, cookers, grinders, washers, mixers) where isolation is required. It also ensures accurate volumetric filling of big bags, sacks, tanks, and containers.
